Learn more about Phys-Fest 1-3 here!

What on earth is Phys-Fest??

Phys-Fest is an immersive training workshop for graduate students and post-docs focused on plant eco-physiology. Our goal is to promote a collaborative educational environment focused on learning new techniques and networking among plant eco-physiologists in different career stages.

Phys-Fest is organized to accomplish distinct goals:

  1. Provide an immersive experience to learn key eco-physiology field measurements
    in a relaxed small-group setting

  2. Train students and postdocs in science communication and outreach

  3. Discuss a range of career options available after grad school

More broadly, the workshop aims to train graduate students in plant ecophysiology techniques, initiate discussion addressing research frontiers within plant ecophysiology, and promote collegiality and collaboration among participants.

Phys-Fest 4 is sponsored by PSInet!
